Medication Packaging
Human centred medication packaging
The ampoule-pairers are the outcome of a probe-o-typing design brief to rethink medication packaging from a medicine safety and user experience perspective.
This design responds to various cases of incorrect picking and waste medicine due to the existing packaging design. Working with Max Health, Auckland District Health Board Pharmacy, and Clinical staff we researched, prototyped and implemented a tail end solution to a front end problem.
As the lead designer and researcher, I explored how drug medication packaging could be improved from an experiential and safety perspective. I carried out this project in an agile manner, constantly iterating, prototyping, testing ideas, and presenting concepts back to the stakeholders until the right solution was created.
